What are the possible cause of 3 out of 5 lug nuts missing on a tire? I noticed a familiar sound/ vibration while I was driving before seeing 3 adjacent lug nuts missing on my front passenger tire. Two adjacent lug nuts were still on. This happened to me previously about a year ago (same car and same location: front passenger side) except 1 of my studs was snapped off as well, so I've had a new stud and new set of lugnuts put in since then. What could be possible causes of this?
