What is your question?
Ok ill try to timeline this out for clarity. Day 0 car runs fine Day 1 i come out and car cranks strong, turns over then dies.... continues to crank strong but wont turn over. Day 2 - i find the inertia shut off switch is tripped. I press it and it clicks. But still no start Day 3 i realize the fuel pump isnt running, i change it. No start.... i then change the fuel filter and the car fires up just like normal days. BUT 10 miles down the road, the car dies again. Day 4 inertia switch not tripped, all fuses checked and good. There is 12v going to fuel pump but still no start. Day 5 i jump wires from the battery to the fuel pump and the fuel pump starts running. Please help!!!!!!!
Intermittent fuel pump relay failure is suspected: https://www.autogenius.info/ford-escape-2001-2007-fuse-box-diagram/ Since you’ve been jumping fuel pump circuits > Strongly suggest RE-TESTING ‘ALL’ of the fuses! .... Easily done with 12 volt test light. Good luck!
Additionally - TESTING for battery power at the inertia switch while a helper turn key on is first step in diagnosis! Battery power must be present on BOTH wires. Seek *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel if necessary.. Or post test results here for more information.
