Interesting I just started the car and when I turned the a/c on it made loud noise and then everything worked. Any ideas why it didn't work yesterday and now it works?
Have the A/C compressor checked out... There's a problem there! ... The compressor ALSO turns on when'defrost' is selected... and that was your original concern!!!
