What is your question?
I had spongy brakes, on 2013 edge. The first place I took it to said it was bad master cylinder. the Ford repair shop said, no it was the brake booster that is in recall. Replaced master cylinder, brake booster, still not working. Now they are saying that after bleeding the brakes, it still doesn't work. Can this possibly be due to bad abs control module? They all say that the brake lines, fluid, pads and drums are good, so I'm curious about the abs module and what the symptom of that problem would be.
What makes this problem better or worse?
it got worse after they replaced the master cylinder and brake booster
How long has your 2013 Ford Edge had this problem?
spongy brakes for about a month

'12 Edge 107k mi, soft brake goes to floor but still works at the bottom. I got kinda raped but the dealer didn't cover anything, replaced Master Cylinder -- didn't fix. Then replaced HCU Hyd Control Unit and that fixed it, but I got stuck with a (negotiated) $1140 for both installed. Would've been about $2k if I didn't haggle....
