problem happens when ever the car stops for about 20 seconds or longer. then goes right back to cold air when you start driving again.
What makes this problem better or worse?
worse the longer you wait at the stop light

Monitor engine temperature as well !
Thank you. The temp gauge has gotten very high when I was in idle for about 7 min. about a month ago. Plus I just checked and my fans are not working. You’re great!!
Thank you. You’re correct about the fans
Fans are available aftermarket as an assembly - this includes the fan control module .. There is a fuse in under hood fuse block that ‘might’ possibly be blown - however every one of these I have repaired turned out to be the fan assembly itself.
This problem happens frequently - Ford should be fixing this for their customers!
