What is your question?
When I'm at a red light or idling or driving slow very long my ac starts blowing warm air and my engine will over heat. The first time it did this my car temp gauge was at hot and started smoking, I turned the engine off and got out and it looked like all the water was running out from under my car. Had it towed to the garage and he hooked it up to a pressure gauge the mechanic said he had it up to 10 but didn't see no leaks, he seemed to think when I got my oil changed the guy didn't tighten the cap back on good because it looked like all the coolant came out the top and overflowed. About a week later I was out an about and it was chilly so I had the heat on and I was driving through town slow and it started to read hot again. Called the mechanic and he's suppose to change the thermostat, could that be what's wrong with it? A bad thermostat? Any ideas?

POSSIBLE A BAD THERMOSTAT? OR THE COOLING FAN IS NOT COMING ON
I have changed the thermostat twice since it started and also the Cooling relay. And still overheating.
Could be can clutch. Have someone shut anyone off if it runs for more than couple seconds it needs new fan clutch
I hear the fan come on but then they go right off.
it has been over heating for 30 DAYS?have you been driving it since over heating happened 30 days ago when you posted this question?
I drive it to work and back maybe 8 miles a day, because thats as far as I can go without it messing up. Running the heat and air in stop and go traffic or idling is when it over heats the fastest.
cooling fans not working.the reason it don't run hot when you're going 55 or 65 mph is because enough air is flowing through because of speed to cool the system.then in stop and go,NOT enough time or air flowing through!fix the cooling fan problem!before you RUN IT TOO HOT AND DAMAGE THE ENGINE.temp sensor,or air in the system.
Took it back to the garage yesterday and cooling fans are not coming on, I had to order new fans and when they come in, go have it replaced.
you should have went and bought them, and put em on yourself. Dorman/Radiator Fan Assembly Part Number: 621-392 Warranty: Limited Lifetime Application: With A/C Price: $211.99
That's about what it was I think 221 w/ tow package, I dont know what the garage is going to charge to put it on. My husband did the thermostat and relay, not sure if he can do the fans though.
ok,but in your very first reply, you said you could hear the fan/fans come on and go right back off?very rare for both fans to go bad at one time.good luck with it.
I thought that it was the fan I was hearing, I thought it was weird bc someone told me that the fans either work or they dont, not just sometimes. My father in law told me that it was the a/c I was hearing kick on and off.
ok.when you turn the a/c on,the condenser fan should start right then.good luck.
With the fans not working will that make my a/c blow warm air?
yes..........
Okay, so got the fans put on today, there turning on now but won't turn off, the garage said that it may be a computer issue they wasn't sure an that I may need to take it to the dealership. They unplugged the fan, said that I could plug it in when I drive it but will have to unplug it when I stop because it continuously runs. Any Ideas?
