engine will not start when cold .will start after warms up 5.4 engine

What is your question?

when cold i have to start engine by spraying gas in the intake .when engine runs a few min. restarts and runs perfect without problems . installed new fuel pump and filter . only 42K miles on my van . what should I look for next.

Scan test while engine is COLD is required .. Highly recommend leaving vehicle @ auto repair facility overnight so proper testing can be completed .. Anything other than that leads to unnecessary guessing and parts replacement.
