It starts every once in a while not all the time makes clicking sound under dash batter charged but not getting fire to starter
Found a vacuum leak in the plastic lower plenum so replaced with aluminum one, replaced injector o- rings one coil boot. We have a obd2 and on the egr valve test it stays on zero percent??
Changed mass, crank and cam sensors, plugs, fuel filter and 2 injectors, truck Still has a very rough idle as well as when u drive it, check engine and little wrench lights are still on. HELP PLEASE.
The nob broke off and stud came out
when cold i have to start engine by spraying gas in the intake .when engine runs a few min. restarts and runs perfect without problems . installed new fuel pump and filter . only 42K miles on my van . what should I look for next.
Once I get into drive, everything runs fine
at first only had air coming out of defrost.blend door actuator was bad replaced it now it works.did not solve the problem.a mechanic named pushrod on this site sent a youtube link watched a video rerouted vacuum line all vents work as they should now.did not solve the problem.replaced thermostat.did not solve the problem.back flushed heater core.did not solve the problem.still no heat.plenty of air at vents. went to to auto parts stores both said should be a valve on one of the heater hoses that should open and close to let hot water flow i dont find any such valve.
only get air out of defrost vents no matter what setting it is on.blend door actuator was bad replaced it .still no heat and air only out of defrost.nothing changed.fan works fine.
Had no leaks, less than 76,500 miles on this van with bubble top.
After mechanic fixed the exhaust manifold the leak free van leaked what looks like oil and mechanic says it has to do with the intake manifold. Was disappointed due to valve gaskets, exhaust manifold, catalytic converter rated for 50 states, new Jaspertransmission, spark plugs/wires all replaced.
The problem occurs mostly when I first take off
Seeing lots of condensation on the lines under the hood some days it works fine other days it's back and forth
again.when speed increases the air will flow to defrost vents.After awhile air willcome the front vents again.Does this with increase or decrease of speed and on its own.
MY FLEXPLATE BROKE AND BROKE MY BELLHOUSING. IT IS THE SECOND TIME MY FLEX PLATE BREAKS. I BEEN TOLD THAT IS BECAUSE I PUT SO MUCH WEIGHT.
Seems to happen more if it idled for a while with the AC on. After it sits for a couple hours it will start again. Seems like vapor lock but no pressure at fuel cap , plenty of electric strength but doesn't even make a click when trying to start.
It's a 93 ford e-250 base 4.9l straight 6 . I have looked everywhere for the air pump alt bracket , being that I broke mine trying to get the alt out. Any help here would be great . Thanks
