How much fuel pressure you got? Have it towed to a repair shop and get it fixed!!!! Anything else is a waste of time for sure and likely money.
i got it at the shop now i'll check the pressure do you know what it should be. I'll hunt up the spec thanks
I cant remember exactly on the specs, been awhile but i can tell you that the shop was your best choice as far as repair! We see so many folks wast money trying to fix these problems where if they had only taken it to get it fixed could have saved them a bunch. ... Oh,, you mean your shop? Are you a mechanic? If so hit it with a shot of carb cleaner in the plenum and see if it will try to fire up, it takes a good bit on this engine but you know that if you are a car man. Watch out for backfire. Can you scan it? Tps may be stuck at wot which is clear flood and cut injector pulse, just guessing again.
You have fuel to the injectors but are the injectors firing? While someone cranks watch and see if the injectors spray. You said you have spark to your distributor pick up and module is fine. If you are getting fuel and spark then I would first remove all the plugs and inspect them. Might be a good idea to replace them a while as they are cheap. Make sure you put in either motorcraft or autolite only. With new plugs if it doesn't start you might need a timing chain.
Iknow the timing chain not broke the rotor turns .could have jumped but no anything not even backfire or anything when trying to start thanks
no and it's a1989 not 98
I haven't worked on a 89 in years, the only thing I remember right now is problems with the ignition modules. Is it mounted on the distributer. Have you checked the injector pulse.
thanks i'll check that
