low idle / exhaust leak

What is your question?

low idle maybe 500 rpm not sure why? car has only 6300 miles. I do notice an exhaust leak from the drivers side front tire area. maybe this would cause a low idle? also, where can I go to fix my exhaust leak? I live in Chicago thanks

I started the car yesterday in the heated garage where im keeping it, and it ran like a carbureted car on a cold day. I had to play with the gas pedal feathering it so the car wouldn't shut off. it stayed on by itself only after a few minutes of me keeping my foot on the pedal so it wouldn't shut off. what do u think? id like to roughly know what the problem is before bringing it over. also, you guys work on vipers? the car is low and ive had bad experience with the bottom being nicked and damaged from people trying to lift it. and from people touching and leaning on the paint.

18 year old car with a little over six thousand miles on it?has the first oil change even been done yet?that's about 350 miles a year,less than 30 miles a month,one mile a day?must be sitting in the garage a lot.as far as the exhaust leak goes,find you a local,trusted,independent,family owned muffler repair shop to check it out.one that you won't have to go get a loan just to fix your vehicle.could be as small as a vacuum hose leaking.
