2005 Dodge Stratus stuck in park

There are a couple of reasons you cannot get the Shifter out of park. vehicle weight on parking pawl (Steep incline), Shift / brake interlock solenoid inoperative, interlock cable broken or disconnected, shifter mechanism broken, ignition switch, battery dead. All of these would have to be checked out.
