Yes they dimmed and it died right after, and it wouldn't do nothing, just the sound of the switch when I turned it. It was as if the whole engine is dead.
alternator most likely gone.most of the time when alt. goes,it drains your battery down to nothing,and car will die soon.most of the time you cant even jump start it.the only way to check your alternator is to have a full charge on your battery,if checking it while still in car.i hate to tell you this,but your battery is in a bad place.jack car up,remove left front wheel,located behind cowl cover,turn wheel to the right for better access.you are going to have to take it out to go get charged or replaced.take alternator off and take it with you,they can put on machine and check both.take to autozone,its free to check them.let me know how it goes.
