What is your question?
There is a black plastic sort of rectangular shaped (empty) box-like structure that the air filter exit hose goes into and sits on top of what looks like a carburator type device (it has a butterfly valve in this device) and also has a small exit port attached hose going towards the firewall. The bottom of this part goes snugly into the aforementioned carburator and is attached via a very short hose with 2 hose clamps to keep it snug and airtight. It is a little bigger than the air filter box, and is clearly visible in a bird's eye view of the engine. The under flange that goes into the "carburator" device is broken off, and is no longer air tight. I don't know what it's called, and am unable to find it's name on the internet. It is plastic and has the number "G848A" stamped into the plastic.Dealer was no help, just told me they no longer make them. Can you tell me what this is called, and where I can get one if it's discontinued? Thank you.
Have *qualified personnel* look under hood so thus part can be properly identified.
