this happens at random times and is not continuous but happens frequently. The bucking/jerking happens while driving with or without full tank of gas NOTE: manual transmission

do you hav a ck eng light on? if so read codes and post so we can adv
my 2000 dodge stratus 2.4l dohc did this it was the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. But my check engine light didnt turn on until it just didn't wanna turn on anymore and when it did it sounded like it had a fuel pump problem and everytime i filled up it would do this. Fuel pump was just replaced so i knew it wasn't that and you could hear the pump when you turn the key to acc. so the check engine light doesnt always turn on ahead of time.
Hi and thank you for such quick response...Yes the engine light is on, it is always on it seems. I had tons of service to this car such as complete front suspension replacement, alternator, thermostat, routine oil changes, emergency brake, master cylinder, clutch replacement, and the list goes on. Can't discard car now, over my head in repair costs can't have much more to replace I hope...thanks for your help truly grateful, Donna
