Blend door actuator stuck/failed? Can you hear any noise under the dash when you change the temp from hot to cold?

Maybe get a shop to diagnose it. Sounds like failed control or actuator. Just to clarify- the temp. is 'cold' , but the heater fan (blower motor) IS working?...................OR get a different Mother-in-law?
