My clutch pedal hit the floor and did not return and a metal bracket fell off

I am trying to figure what this metal bracket is that broke off my 1989 Dodge ram 50 manul shift. The clutch hit the floor and now it just flop up an down the part is on my table it fell on the ground under the truck it looks like a linkedge part or i cound send you a text picture of this what ever it is it has to do with the clutch

No need for a pic... This is something that's got to go to the shop for repair.. Most likely it the actuator rod from the slave cylinder... Without some pretty good auto repair savvy, have it fixed!.. Google image : clutch slave cylinder.

That is not the right part not a slav cylinder this part looks like a side ways brake pedal. Can i text you a picture

It must have the clutch cable then.. That has to be the release lever that's broken off the release bearing shaft.. Unless it can be welded back on, the trans wil have to be removed to replace the mechanism!
