still got the bed off?check the connectors, the male and female for loose pins/wires,not making a good connection at the fuel pump first.you can't hear the pump prime when key is turned to on?if not check the fuel pump fuse on both sides of the fuse for power with a volt meter.also check the fuel pump relay,and/or swap it with another one just like it in the fuse box.if you have power at these places, now check for power at the fuel pump with a helper turning key to on,while you check for battery voltage at pump connector with a volt meter, you will only see the voltage for a couple of seconds.
is there pwr to it? where did you buy the pump?
I have bought the pumps at oreilly's pump has lifetime warranty the exchanged it once for me. I have only tested the plug with a light tester not a volt meter there is one wire that the light tester is telling me there is power. Don't know if this will help or not at first the truck died so put it on the car trailer brought it home it sat overnight next day it started though maybe the pump was going changed pump ran fine for two months then out of the blue died while pulling into gas station and this is where we are now yes there is gas in it pump won't cycle at all and gauge won't work
I have checked the connection at the pump it is good I have switched relays and checked fuses I will Check for power at the relays and when I have replaced the pump I replaced everything sending unit and all ran for two months
remove the fuel pump relay.check position 30 on the relay socket, where the relay plugs in,you should have battery voltage at this pin.if so,use a paper clip and jump pin 30 to pin 87.the pump should run.also what happens if you spray starting fluid in the throttle body, and try and start it with relay plugged in as normal.do you have spark?
I don't see a fuel pump relay there is a starter relay and a small fuel system relay is this the relay the smaller fuel system relay is marked 1-5 the starter relay has the 30 pin and 87
