The master window control switch levers

Both front window levers were broken on the master window control switch. Driver window works with the assistance of a bobby pin. Passenger lever works the front passenger window. Purchased new switch, but now neither front window levers will work, please help me troubleshoot how to make the new switch work. I put the old switch back on and the lever works with the bobby pin and the passenger lever will work its window.
