Disconnect the negative battery terminal.The resistor is behind the glove box, empty it, pull the sides together and the box falls open. Right in front is the resistor, just two screws holding it in. unplug the electrical connector(s)go to a parts place(NAPA,AZ,ADV,ORLY),the new one is about $20.00,unless yours has Automatic A/C,then it's around $100.00..plug it in, reattach the two screws and you're done.re-attach the battery cable About 10 minutes work.
