I took it to doge and they said they could not find the problem and could get it to mimic it again. They said there was one key fob error on the computer. Now locks are going on and off over over with me sitting in the car not touching the fob now to only have a constant dead battery. getting a new key fob today but is that really it?

Could very well be , ahile ago I had that happen to me , with my wifes' Explorer. MY key fob 'unlock' button was stuck and whenever I was within range , it kept sending the signal to 'unlock' hers. Fortunately , I was able to take mine apart and clean it and that was all it needed. MOST aren't that easy!
