Fuel gauge stuck at 1/8 full after fill up-worked fine before-what happened?

What is your question?

The avg miles to empty reads 50 then goes down a bit but goes back to 50 when I shut down the vehicle. Any suggestions?

most likely the fuel sending unit,float/switch has quit working.located in the fuel tank,part of the fuel pump module assembly.it has to be replaced as a whole unit.

Sounds like a Fuel Level float but before I say that is the problem I would want to do a gage sweep with the scanner to make sure its not a gage problem.
