What is your question?
I bought a car with a quick disconnect on negative terminal from a trusted family member. No issues until a few days ago, once the weather turned cold. If the battery is fully connected, it will die in just a few hours. If the disconnect is turned off (battery disconnected), it stays charged, or at least it has thus far. I've had the alternator checked, and it tested fine. There was a "short" in a circuit before I got it, but it was fixed. This is a 2007 Dodge Nitro. Not sure if cold weather has a play, considering it won't die if I turn off the negative terminal using the disconnect switch.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The battery dies indefinitely if I leave it fully connected
How long has your 2007 Dodge Nitro had this problem?
