see any sparks when trying to jump start other vehicle when cables were connected?
After attempting the first jump start .. See any unusual lights on in dash while the engine WAS running? Reckon it could be a possibly the jumper cables where hooked up backwards?
Unfortunately you can’t do anybody a favor anymore - it’ll come back to haunt ya every time .. (no good deed goes unpunished) .. You mentioned battery connector in your original post - since your engine started when jumped but then wouldn’t re-start - suspect the problem is in the battery cable connection(s)... Jumper cables send voltage through the OUTSIDE of the battery cable clamps.. Good luck!
well i replaced the connecters lol and i know thats what i told my mom i was just tryna help lol
As stated in the other answer - seeing sparks when connecting jumper cables is usually the result of reversed battery polarity - which in turn 'usually' results in blown fuses - however since you stated your engine did indeed start when it was jump started - that indicates the fuses are ok - that why I suspected the battery cable to battery post connections.
My car was working fine until I gave the man a jump, when he tried to jump his veh using my car when he put the cables on there I did see a spark. I drove hom fine the veh started shortly after then that night when i went to start it it wouldnt start so my mother gave me a jump it started back up when i turned it back off it will no longer start auto zone tested the battery and the battery is good
sounds like jumper cables were hooked up backwards, maybe? TEST all fuses with a test light.... https://www.dummies.com/home-garden/car-repair/how-to-jump-start-a-car/
