Over heating with no thermostat

What is your question?

I have a new radiator in my car and new water hose but my thermostats kept crushing. There's no thermostat in there now but when I drove it my temperature gauge kept rising I had put my air on and the gauge started lowering ... what could be the problem

Thermostat MUST be in place or coolant will circulate to quickly - can't be cooled properly by the 'radiator' .. Check radiator cooling fan operation as well. Thermostat "keeps crushing" ??
