This Neon 2.0 SOHC started running rough awhile back. Then it seemed allright, then rough again, and now it just stopped running. It won't start. I tried another coil, but there's no difference. I don't know this car. It's my ladys sons car. When the key's in the on position the fuel pump comes on, and i don't know if it's me, but sounds loud. I'm out in the middle of nowhere, and i don't have any real testing equipment with me, so any answer/guess is more than appreciated! Thanks, Kevin

Guess work can be expensive. A crankshaft Position sensor is a good place to start, however, I suggest that you take the vehicle to a reputable repair shop or Dealership for inspection and diagnosis. It will be far cheaper in the long run.
