See what I mean?
i'm seeing,but i (not) believe.did 418 find inertia switch,90 buick??
You may be able to fix this yourself with a helicoil kit. Is the hole still round and about the size of the spark plug threaded end? If so get a spark plug hole repair kit and tap in the new threads. Use a shop vac with a small piece of hose attached to suck and dirt or chips out of the hole. Only use it for a short time so you don't overheat your shop vac.
what can i do to fix this. do i need a new head or what?
i know of people who have repaired this problem.but it has to be done very, very carefully,so nothing falls inside.you will need to call a local trusted engine repair shop for quotes.this is not DIY for most people.
Thank You.
