Gascap light on dash and checkengine light. Test error found to be massive evap leak. Anyone encounter this? I hear many people getting cascap light on speedometer but seldom a cascap problem. More often something to do with gas tank tube or check valve

Hello, The gas tank filler neck and check valve are normally issues for Dodge/Chrysler products when they are filling up at a gas station. There are instances where EVAP leaks are caused by the filler neck, but the condition is a little different. Most likely, you have a stick open purge valve, and the clunk you are hearing is the leak detection pump failing a self-diagnostic EVAP test. The purge valve is located at the engine, and you should not be able to blow through it when it is not energized (off the car) If you have any other questions, or need more information, let me know, or, if you prefer one of our certified shops diagnose the issue, see the link below: http://repairpal.com/dodge-within-10-miles-of-bethlehem-pennsylvania-18020
