Loud popping with acceleration

What is your question?

My 02 Durango is a awd /limited slip diff, NP244D transfer case, when I let off the break in gear my truck begins yo roll and a very loud metal popping begins. The noise sounds like a Tommy gun and gets louder with speed. Then it tapers off when motor is no longer torqued. Please help!!!!
