What is your question?
After swaping the motors out . Car wont start OBD II had code p1391: so I replaced both. Still wont start bought a battery. Drained it. Found an answer on this sight. Said I would have to swap out the crank ping gear and the right side cam sprocket. is there anything I need to pay special attention to ? I just got done draining the fluids out of it. Getting it ready for this chore. The bran new oil that I had put in to it , was thin with gas. No doubt becuase it didn't burn it off by starting. So I'm just tring to get someone else that knows what there doing oppinon on this matter. Thanks in advance.Reply A.S.A.P.

Same exact cam & crank sensors for both years... I just looked it up!! .. Do NOT tear that engine down!.. With a REAL scanner, check for crank and cam signal while cranking engine for 10 seconds... Also cam and crank sync... Don't guess at it! http://engine-codes.com/p1391_dodge.html
The PCM box on the 2000,has 3 plugs. And the 2002 PCM box has 4 plugs. Do I put the 2002 or the 2000 sensors in.. The body and brain is the 2000. the motor is a 2002.
Ok, the info on the number of PCM wire plugs makes a difference for sure, you have a later production 2002 engine... You will either have to change the reluctor (tone rings) OR PCM and wiring harness. To R&R the 'crankshaft' reluctor ring, got to pull the crank out of the engine... That means engine got to come back out... To **confirm this** you can pull the crank sensor out of both engines and use a light to inspect the reluctor ring .. It should be very obvious if different... The later production has 'more teeth'... Good luck with it!
