What is your question?
I lost my water pump on my engine. I have replaced the water pump and thermostat and the serpentine belt. Due to the fact it was saturated with of coolant. The engine starts fine and it seems to be running fine. But when I start to go down the road the engine shut down. It seems to happen in fast idle mode or warm up mode. My question is there a sensor that is bad or something I have to reset in the computer ? I’ve had this vehicle at the dealership for four days and the Tech Is struggling to find out what’s wrong with this. He drove it home to his house and it killed on him five times. They have replaced the battery saying that it had a bad cell and it was not communicating with the Computer. I didn’t have none of these problems before I lost my water pump. It ran fine ?

Hello, no, there is nothing that needs to be reset with the work you performed. The only thing related I can imagine is that if something else got damage from being soaked by coolant. But even then, you would find clues via diagnostic trouble codes that would be set due to some kind of failed wiring, sensor or connector. When you tell me that a tech is struggling to find out what is wrong with your vehicle -- when the failure is actively occurring -- it makes me feel like you need to take it to a different shop or speak to the manager of the current shop for some clarity and further guidance. A failed battery will typically not care a stalling situation. And the engine's processor does not communicate with a battery. Low battery voltage may cause trouble codes to be set. And, the battery may have been needed. But I do not think it is part of your concern of stalling.
Despite what some people may tell you - dealerships aren’t aren’t necessarily the best option for your vehicles repair needs. You simply need a knowledgeable mechanic to fix your truck - likely found at local independent auto repair facility.
After pcm communication has been properly established - vehicle can be driven with diagnostic equipment connected - thus increasing the odds of successful diagnoses. God luck!
