Will dex cool antifreeze hurt anything ?

No way to determine - nobody knows exactly what type antifreeze / coolant was in the vehicle when you added the Dex.. It is probably not going to cause any problems as the reason for the deficit of coolant will need to be investigated and repaired - system can then be refilled with new coolant at that time.
