Yeah, I know ... Just don't think it is the *3.9L* V/6 engine in the 2006 truck .. Perhaps it is the *3.7L* V/6 instead?

I believe your rite 3.7

The transmissions are interchangeable between the 4.7 and the 3.7 .. You should be good to go.
