What is your question?
Not long ago I replaced the rear axel on my kota and while I was getting to the end and pulling out the old axle I broke the wires going to the speed sensor on the pumpkin. Since then I've fixed the wires and replaced the sensor atleast 4 times.. ran a continuity test on the sensor to make sure it was functional and checked to make sure it was getting power. If I run a gauge test on my dash all my gauges operate properly so it has to be a sensor or bad wire right?... any info would be a big help thanks
What makes this problem better or worse?
Dosnt get worse or better
How long has your 2005 Dodge Dakota had this problem?
About a year now. Just been using an app on my phone as a speedo

More than likely wiring or connector damage - especially since you caused the failure. Scan tool can read speedometer signal inputs then compared to actual speedometer. IF scan tool data shows no input - - you figure it out.
