the rpms and odometer go all the way down and sometimes shuts off

CHECK the wiring VERY good going to the camshaft position sensor...some have replaced the cam sensor several times and it starts the same thing again.works for a while then same ole thing.check the wiring and connector over very well!!! if new connector/harness is needed,they do sell it at parts places.....17 model years affected: 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010.....>>>71 people reported this problem....

i have simaliar problem with my 99 dakota 5 speed, but no answers
