What is your question?
I have a 1991 dodge Dakota and for about a year it stalls whenever I hit the brake to stop. The other day it started and stalled within a few seconds and it won't start. I replaced the coil the one against the firewall and it still won't start any ideas in where to begin, unfortantly i don't have codes because I reset the computer. Thanks

If the pickup doesn't work out, check if it has the 'white' ignition coil resister. Have seen those give trouble as well, here is a pic. http://www.carpartkings.com/standard-ignition-ballast-resistor-ru12t.html
try unplugging all sensors and plug em back in, play with the wires
I have already tried that.Tried running a hot wire from the positive in the battery to the positive on the ignition coil still no spark. I am working on replacing the pickup coil sensor next.
I have had the same problem as you and i had looked there are two switches under your dash one should be a light switch and one should be like an on off switch try that and if that does not work try taking it into a shop as it might be an electrical problem.
Where would the coil resistor be located?
Inner fender... Firewall... ? Check the figment guide on that page as well... I think a 91 model has one!
OK I will check into that as well seems like a cheaper priced part
True... Also possible ASD relay... Crankshaft sensor!... Just a couple more suggestions.. A 'scanner' with live data sure would help out!! Check engine light working?
OK so I replaced the pickup sensor still no start. Unfortantly I cannot get the resistor ballast till tomorrow. Check engine light works and the codes that i get are 12 and 55
