What is your question?
I have recently replaced the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and TPS on this 1990 Dodge Dakota because of a "no-run" condition. The vehicle now starts relatively easily, but has a bad surge at idle, cruising and under load. Previous to the no-start condition, these issues did not exist. Fuel Injectors are clean, no leakage or leak down. Fuel pressure good at 14 psi. Fresh fuel added to tank prior to restart. No vacuum leaks detected or noted. Plugs are also relatively new. Plug wires are new within the past 10K miles.
What makes this problem better or worse?
No change with hot, cold, etc.
How long has your 1990 Dodge Dakota had this problem?
New Issue
I will try to retrieve codes to see if that will lead us anywhere. Any other helpful suggestions?
I have been able to get it to now start and run, but it has a bad surge and idle issue. I do not smell raw fuel or have been able to determine any vacume leaks. Any other thoughts or ideas?
