2012 Dodge Charger,Engine light for thermostat

What is your question?

Randomly the check engine light came on. Autozone gave me a code which is for thermostat issue. But only thing I notice was low coolant which was because I didn't add any before. I filled up with antifreeze and added fuel injector cleaner also for safe side. Drives better but light is still on, I have no leaks, no overheating, same level of coolant. Do I have to change the thermostat then? I'm In college so tight budget.

Well the coolant went some-where! I understand you're on a tight budget but things can get a lot more expensive if the engine coolant level is allowed to become excessively low.. Highly recommend cooling system pressure test. Good luck!
