I haven't really heard much on how to fix this no matter where I look.

IF you mean the bolt head is now rounded off and a wrench or socket no longer works - then you’ll need a special tool for removal. Use Google search for rounded head bolt removal tool. Good luck to ya!
There are a few methods that may work but you have limited working space so some of the usual means of removal can’t be accomplished.. You should find images of the various tools as well as how to videos with Google search. Otherwise *hands-on* inspection / evaluation will be required before a solution can be reached - each situation is unique - unto itself.
