What is your question?
A few weeks ago I was driving my caliber and the throttle body light started flashing and it acted like I was hitting the gas as hard as I could it would rev up and stay reved up (as if I was hitting the gas even when I wasent touching the gas at all). It was a pain but I could still drive it. I took it to get the codes read, and they said a few codes came up and that it was the acceleration sensor so I'd have to replace the pedal. I decided to wait a little bit(things have been tight money wise) and it wouldent constantly do it, it would happen randomly and sometimes stop when I turned the car off and turned it back on. well Friday I was driving home from work and the light came on again but this time instead of acting like I was petal to the metal its now acting like I'm not hitting the gas at all. I went maybe 2mph all the way home🤦 and now it's a constant as soon as I turn the car on the light is flashing, etc. I replaced the pedal and its still doing it. What should I try now?
What makes this problem better or worse?
When it's cold out at first now it's constant
How long has your 2012 Dodge Caliber had this problem?
About maybe a month, but seriously 5 days

Based on past experiences with this vehicle it is quite likely the throttle body assembly is causing your concerns. It’s a common failure for these vehicles. Professional scan tool will make short work of positive diagnoses! .. (Provided it’s used by qualified personnel).. Good luck!
You’ve simply got to have the proper equipment and talent required to perform successful automobile repair nowadays! Unfortunately for the vehicle owner the days of diy auto repair are over - have been for some time now.
