Ok so i have a 2008 dodge caliber sxt. While driving last week the battery light came on. After we stopped at store and came back out and started car again it was gone. Yesterday the battery light came back on and stayed on. Half our into driving the red lightning bolt came on along with abs ligths and the car had a bad shutter to it. Would not go above 20 km an hour lights were dimming and flickering. So thinking it was the battery i baught a new one and upon installing it noticed the top post connectors were corroded so changed them to new as well. After that was done i started car and got red lightning bolt for a min and still the battery light stayed on. 30 min of car sitting and ideling the red bolt came on. Abs came on and car shut down. I put fully charged eliminator on car and wont turn over. I left eliminator on car for 30 min to charge battery and tried again. Will bot turn over i got red lightning bolt and the abs and the ! What makes this problem better or worse?
Wont start and yes its winter and cold right now
