There is no obvious cause as to why this is happening. It occurs quite frequently and during the night!!
What makes this problem better or worse?

Visit local auto repair facility and have mechanic remove the horn pad//air bag assembly and check for a shorted horn ground circuit (wire) .. It is also *very possible* the horn pad itself has failed inside and is intermittently making contact - sounding the horn. Good luck!
*IF* the horn pad//air bag assembly is found to be the culprit - an auxiliary horn button can be installed in a convenient location for the driver - then the original horn pad circuit can be eliminated - while leaving the air bag and all of it's circuits in tact. It would be GREAT if this problem could be duplicated for the mechanic while searching for the failure - that's not very likely though. The horn *ground circuit* is 'more than likely' what's causing all of the trouble.
