IF this started immediately after the tires were installed... Complain to the tire shop/installer! .. Have tires with less aggressive tread installed .. Not much other choice.. Based on your location, I'm guessing they were probably just doing you a favor by installing a more aggressive winter type tire! Which WILL make 'some' additional noise while driving on dry pavement..as opposed to a smoother, less aggressive tread..but also with less traction!
NEW or used tires?? Lots of used tire places that will easily sell 'cupped' tires with good tread depth , and not worry about the noise issue. seen exactly that a few months ago when a car came in with the exact same complaint written on repair order! looked at the tires expecting to see new , but they were about 15K into the treadlife and badly cupped on the inner edges! ONLY fix is to replace or live with it til the tread is worn down.
Actually all 4 are brand new.
okay , and the noise you hear now , was definitely NOT there before the new tires were installed?? Can you tell us EXACTLY what brand and model tires they put on? Bridgestone (brand) potenza (model) ,For example. That info may help determine if what you're hearing is just a normal characteristic of that tire. Has anyone else(shop tech) driven it to confirm no wheel bearing noise??

"I'm guessing they were probably just doing you a favor by installing a more aggressive winter type tire!" Yes you may be right because last winter here in Toronto,Ontario was horrible so much snow..........and we may not have heard the loudness immediately, but later on we heard it. I will ask them, but i am almost certain they will try to find something else wrong to try and fix because that's how they think there. But they are barking up the wrong tree. They can't get passed this Italian lady!
LOL... Stick by your guns, 'IF' it's a problem with the tires...like suggest in next answer..eg.. scalloped tread, They should take care fo it!
