Incorrect; to high or to low idle speed, no noise! Have another "mechanic" check it out!

when I accelerate the wining gets louder /matches engine speed ,,, could it be a bad idler pulley making this noise ?

Yes, have it checked by a "mechanic". Easily tested for any drive belt system componet problems, mechanic will/should know what to do. You are not equipped to do this!!
