We changed the alternator, the battery, cleaned and checked all grounds, connections, checked fuses. The light came on one night, we cleaned the neg battery post and it went out and ran fine for over 100 miles. Next morning coming home from work light came on and the power slowly died out till the car was dead. Towed it home, charged it up, did all the things stated and the light is still on and the battery is slowly draining while it runs. Im just stumped!

Properly charge the battery and bring it to a SHOP ---NOT Autozone--and have it scanned and monitored for charging system operation. PCM controlled alternator. Also check harness connections for corrosion and clean as needed along with ANY ground wires you can find.
Its fixed!! Went back and rechecked for ground wire problems. Put the computer on it and erased the check engine light and the battery light went out! Drove to the gas station, about 15 miles and its great. This car has been real good to us for 4 years now, has 279000 miles and got it for $3200 bucks. Can't ask for better. Thanks for the help.
