what is bank 2 in the emissons code?

I'm assuming you have a 6 cylinder. Bank 1 is one side of the motor that has 3 of the cylinders and bank 2 has the other 3 cylinders. Bank 1 is the side of the motor that has cylinder number one on it. Sorry if this don't make too much sense.
