When I drive over any bumps the right front rattles real bad why is this

Loose suspension component , best to visually confirm what exactly , or by your symptom description , replace both strut ASSEMBLIES (complete units with spring etc.) and replace the sway bar links . Those would be the most common guesses.
I second the loose or worn out suspension component. My 2006 Sebring Convertible's front end (driver's side) rattled terribly for over a year (no money for mechanic). Was positive, in my own smug way, that it was the front bumper fascia loose...because I would hit the front bumper with my hand and it would rattle and make the same sound driving. YouTube video by ChrisFix told me it could be outer tie rods. Sure enough I took off the driver's side tire and wiggled the outer tie rod where it connects to the wheel and it wiggled easily (IT SHOULD NOT DO THIS, DANGEROUS). Put in new driver's side outer tie rod (very easy to do, but eventually must have front end re-aligned). WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Rattling went away completely. (It even rattled on smooth surfaces) Now, no more rattle. Checked the passenger side outer tie rod. Didn't wiggle, so thought just replace anyway. After I got the old off, I could wiggle the screw part that went into the steering hole (another bad tie rod, should not wiggle AT ALL). Now noise gone, steering more "tight." But still have sounds, bad ball joints...always something...
Do you think it could maybe be a strut
In my case I wiggled the front up and down from under the car and traced the other sound to an upper ball joint (another ChrisFix video). Haven't replaced yet. Need more knowledge and money. It could very well be the strut. If you could get under the car near the strut, have some one push down the front end while you search for where the sound is coming from. Grab the strut by hand while its rocking. If the strut is making a sound it will vibrate to the touch. This goes for all the other steering and suspension components too. Good luck. Don't overlook checking the outer tie rods first. I replaced each one--with an ACDelco part no less-- for about $50 total. I replaced the rattling one first. Best cheap investment yet. Since the struts are expensive (under $200 for a pair, just parts) I would check the other steering components first before replacing the struts. But let's face it, the struts are old, if you have maybe 100,000 miles on them or more. They probably should just be replaced soon anyway. That may sound like I'm contradicting myself. But what I really mean to say is check the steering components and suspension components first. Then MoveOn to the struts.
