Hello, The body controller, a.k.a. body control module, is likely defective, or there may be water damage, affecting the controller. Swapping out the body control module is not a horrible task, but buying an expensive part, it is an old computer, will cost you too much to rely on a guess/hunch. You will want to test, and if you have access to a multi-meter, and know where the body control module is at, this is not too hard. I can help you out here as much as possible.
