I had just been in the car running came home shut off then left again. Approx 3 blocks from my house heard quick noise then car died immediatly after. Towed to house put more gas in it acts and sounds like it's not getting gas. Cranks but never starts. Help please. Both car broke down sik kids and dying dad
How long has your 1998 Chrysler Sebring had this problem?

Im so sorry this happen but unfortunately this could be many things. Could be as simple as a fuel pump or could be a serious engine issue. Has the engine timing belt been replaced according to the recommended schedule?
Fuel pump is kicking on and timing belt has not been replaced and checked that too
Reason timing belt failure was suspect is you stated you heard a noise then engine immediately stalled - that’s more indicative of a ‘mechanical’ failure. *Hands-on* testing will be required. Good luck!
