Likely cause of squeaking noise when carrying passengers in my 2002 PT Cruiser?

Don't be suprised if it ends up needing more than just one particular item and also a certain amount of 'process of elimination'. 10&1/2 years is a long time for no suspension work (pretty good to), some items that are worn , although marginally , may not show up 'til after any other parts that are in worse condition are replaced first.
