07 Pacifica refuses to start intermittently. A local shop says the computer is at fault. Even tho the car is under warrenty, Chrysler refuses to do anything about it, even refusing to pay the tow into the shop because it then starts. Also it killed an 8 month old battery. Shows no codes.

Has any shop ever been able to duplicate the symptom you describe? Speculation can be sketchy at best. Describe in a little more detail , what you experience when it 'refuses' to start. Crank/no-crank? No fuel? No spark?
Try installing another ground from ground side of batt to either tranny or engine block
Chrysler just replaced 2 ground straps after I saw the answer to the problem online. 2 days later nothing for 2 twists of the key then started on the 3rd try.
does nothing. No clicking of the solonoid. Just like a totally dead battery. Chrysler replaced the ground straps but still sometimes won't make a sound when the key is turned. Other times it fires right up.
